Craxel's Black Forest™ Data Technology Innovation Inspired by Dakota State University Legacy

It was fantastic to see U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly in my hometown of Madison, South Dakota today for DakotaCon and all the exciting happenings related to cyber, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing at Dakota State University. I’m particularly excited as my life is inextricably linked to DSU - with my grandmother getting her teaching certificate at Eastern Normal School (previous name) - and then my mother graduating from General Beadle College (another name) - and my sister and brother graduating from DSU.

In 1984 when I was in elementary school, DSU’s mission changed to focus on computer related technology. Although I didn’t attend DSU, its focus on tech rubbed off on me - from computer camp to CompSci competitions. Now Craxel is bringing some of the most exciting breakthroughs in data management, high performance searchable encryption, and zero trust security to market.

Thank you DSU!
