RAF Small Arms supports serving personnel across Target Pistol, Rifle, Small Bore and Clay Pigeon shooting, providing training, development and competitive opportunities for participants across a range of experience levels. The Association organises regular training sessions, competitions and events designed to improve marksmanship while building camaraderie, confidence and esprit de corps among RAF personnel.
Founded as the Royal Air Force Rifle Association in 1921 and renamed the Royal Air Force Small Arms Association in 1946, the Association has a long history of promoting military efficiency through competitive shooting.
